MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global inroads into the Latin popular music scene. In 2017, his 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN The First Long-Player with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album climbed to number 8 within the Top Latin Albums Chart. Later in the year, he collaborated with Ozuna to create Vaina Loca that was it was a Top Five hit. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina within the year following. Then in 2021, he sang an duet with TINI's streaming hit track Maldita Foto. In 2023, the year 2000, the hit song La Bachata was released. Turizo was born into music-loving family. His older brother and mother are both musicians. In his interviews, he's described participating in music as compulsory. When he was young, he taught how to play the saxophone, piano as well as guitar. While his initial career choice was becoming a vet, His brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in singing lessons with a Cuban instructor.
